The 2.8 kW (3.8 HP) STIHL 2-MIX engine in the STIHL MS 291 petrol chainsaw together with the STIHL 3/8″ RM3 saw chain ensures high cutting performance . In order to be able to work as uninterrupted as possible , the chainsaw is equipped with a pre-separation. This removes larger particles before the actual filter. For even longer service intervals, the HD2 air filter can also be retrofitted, which effectively keeps dust away from the chainsaw engine. This means that this chainsaw then has a long-term Air filter system : To protect your muscles and joints while working, the STIHL anti-vibration system reduces vibrations that occur in the engine and the implement.
